Senior Technical Leader

CloudAssist are seeking a Senior Technical Leader with hands-on experience in the Microsoft Power Platform and SQL databases. The ideal candidate will be an expert in building and managing technical teams, driving technical initiatives, and ensuring successful project completion. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance our software products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects from conception to completion with an emphasis on applications built on the Microsoft platform using Azure, SQL, Power Apps and Outlook, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Utilise hands-on coding skills with Microsoft Power Platform and SQL databases to develop, troubleshoot, maintain and optimise our systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to define system requirements and design solutions.
  • Assesses the technical feasibility of new initiatives and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Build a team of people to manage and maintain the suite of products built and supported by CloudAssist.
  • Ensure the team adheres to best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies.
  • Create strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services.
    Maintaining meticulous product documentation and versioning history of all documents.

Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Leader or a similar leadership role in software development with a focus on the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience across the Microsoft Cloud Computing eco-system.
  • Proficient in SQL database management and performance tuning.
  • Strong people management skills, with an ability to inspire, motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft certification a plus, specifically PL-400, PL-500 or PL-600 or significant experience in the field of building Enterprise level Power Apps.
  • Experience in working remotely is required as this role is 100% remote.
